Cancellation and changes to your booking
All cancellation requests must be made in writing to kayaatblackhillfarm@gmail.com
For your peace of mind we strongly recommend that you take out suitable travel insurance to cover scenarios in which we would be unable to offer a refund and recommend the services of Booking Protect as part of our check out process.
Cancellation within 10 weeks of check in:
In the event of cancellation within 10 weeks of check in, the total cost of the accommodation is non-refundable. In these circumstances we endeavour to resell the dates but should we be unsuccessful we will retain 100% of the total cost.
In the event we do resell the dates, we will retain 25% of the full value as an administration fee. This covers for example, targeted marketing efforts to attract a new booking.
Cancellations 10 weeks or more from check in:
If you want to cancel your stay and it is more than 10 weeks until you are due to check in, you will forfeit 25% of your booking fee to cover costs. The remaining funds will be refunded to you within 7 working days.
Alterations to dates
Should you wish to change the details of your booking and it is more than 10 weeks until check in, we will do our best to accommodate your wishes. Should your preferred dates be more expensive, payment in full of any difference will be necessary to secure the booking. Due to the administration required and impact on rebooking the booked dates, we can only offer 1 change of dates per booking.
Date changes within 10 weeks of your stay cannot be accommodated.
A reminder that if for any reason you can no longer attend your holiday or no longer want to attend your holiday and are outside of the cancellation period, we are unable to offer refunds. We therefore strongly recommend that you take out suitable holiday insurance.
Covid Policy
If you have to cancel a booking due to Covid (isolation or positive testing) our regular cancellation terms still stand.
